Publicising your twitter feed on your blog is common practice nowdays as the two work well together – you can gain more followers from your blog and gain more readership of your blog via twitter. To spice up the link to your twitter feed, a good way is to include a graphic with the link, like we do here on Golden Blogging (see our sidebar). A number of designers have kindly made some for you to download free so here is a round up of the best ones we could find.

1. Web Designer Depot – A set of 50 free and exclusive Twitter icons that you can use for your websites. The icons are provided in both raster and vector formats: The transparent PNG versions are 256×256, and we have also included Illustrator files so that you can resize the icons as needed.

2. Randa Clay Design – A number of free twitter badges in .PNG and .GIF format

3. Productive Dreams – Free Twitter Icon Set which is 100% vector (Fireworks file). This set contains 4 different poses of the Twitter bird. Both PNG and PSD versions has been included in the .zip file.You can use the icons for private and commercial projects, blogs and web-sites for free, without any restrictions whatsoever.

4. Smashing Magazine – Birdies: A Free Twitter Icon Set, a set of 12 beautiful and lovely Twitter icons. This set was designed by IconEden and released exclusively for Smashing Magazine and its readers.

5. Webdesign.fm – These 4 happy go lucky birds can be used on your blog or website to encourage others to share your content or to follow you on Twitter. These icons are available in PSD and PNG formats.

6. Twittericon – A large selection of twitter graphics with the relevent codes to hotlink them on your website

7. Function – Free Illustration, beautifully made by Pasquale D’Silva, and a couple of Icons which you can use for your twitter status sections of your site. The file is a transparent background PNG, so can easily be imported and scaled into any design.

8. Chris Wallace – Free Twitter icon set with three cute little baby Twitter birds for you to enjoy. The icon set includes four different .PNG image sets (32×32, 48×48, and 80×80) and the original .AI file so you can modify and create different variations

9. Web-Kreation – The zip contains two transparent PNG icons available in resolutions of 128×128 pixels, 256×256 and 512×512

10. The Design Super Hero – Twitter bird icons in high resolution .PSD

11. Design Reviver – Fed up with the same standard set of social icons for your blog or site? This set of six social icons (Digg, Twitter, Delicious, RSS, Reddit & Stumbleupon) are free to use on your websites and blogs however you wish.

12. Vincentabry.com – 31 twitter badges for you to use on your website.

13. Monkey Works – Twitter icons with attitude!

14. Siah Design – Free graphics for anyone that would like to use them. I supplied every version with a GIF with transparent background and a PNG with white background.

15. Vector Tuts – Using some basic shapes, effects, and gradients I will show you how to create a Twitter mascot for your blog or website.

16. Loon design – “There are many different icons for twitter. You can download this file – it contains a 345px X 345px and 48px X 48px png file.”

18. Smashing Magazine – Practika free icon set. The icons are available in resolutions 64×64px, 128×128px and 256×256px, in 32-bit transparency PNG.

19. Icons Pedia – Twitter bird icon available in .ICO or .PNg format.

20. iThemes – There are two sets of the Rockin’ Twitter Bird Icons available in PNG format with sizes at 128 x 128, 64 x 64, 48 x 48, and 32 x 32.
