New Twitter homepage design

It’s being reported that Twitter will soon be unveiling a new homepage design; I shouldn’t be looking forward to this as much as I am, but there you go!

The current Twitter homepage can be a little baffling for newcomers – especially those being driven there by main stream media who aren’t as techy as us web geeks. It took me over a year from first signing up to actually using the service on a regular  basis so anything that can help convert all this traffic to regular users will be a huge lift to the company.

One of the reasons Im really looking forward to this is because Doug Bowman, joined as their Creative Director, having left google no less for the position. A man who is very well known within the web design community and always produces high-end work – so lets see what direction he’s taking the new Twitter homepage in..
